Parkville Residences reaches its highest point

In June, the construction of Parkville Residences reached another significant milestone: the project has reached its highest point. With the completion of structural work, the residential complex’s final silhouette is now fully visible, while construction is increasingly focusing on interior finishing work.

Over the course of the month, the closing slabs for the stairwells and elevator shafts were completed on all buildings, and by the end of June, the exterior attic walls on the top floor were also finished. Following the structural work, concrete finishing and final touches are currently underway. At the same time, the first floor slab has been completed on the two-story section of Building “B,” while rebar installation for the second floor slab is already in progress.

Masonry work is also progressing steadily. In Buildings “C” and “D,” the brickwork for the fourth-floor apartments has been completed, and construction is currently continuing on the fifth and sixth floors. Bricklaying is underway on the fourth floor of Building “A” and on the first floor of Building “B.”

The installation of interior systems is expanding to more and more buildings. Basic mechanical and electrical installations are currently underway in Buildings “C,” “D,” and “A.” As part of the mechanical work, pressure testing of the first-floor systems has begun, while the installation of riser pipes has already reached the 5th floor. The electrical contractor has completed the basic installation on the first floor of Building “D” and is continuously expanding the work area toward the upper floors.

The installation of the facade windows and doors also represents significant progress. The plastic windows and doors have already been installed on the first floor of Buildings “A,” “C,” and “D,” and the windows intended for the second floor of Building “C” have also arrived; their installation will continue in the next phase.

Intensive work is also underway in the basement: in addition to various specialized construction tasks, materials are being delivered continuously to ensure that the installation of the ground-source heat pump systems can begin in July. This state-of-the-art, energy-efficient system will be one of the key elements of Parkville Residences’ modern technical solutions.

The milestones achieved in June clearly demonstrate the project’s steady progress. With the completion of structural work and the acceleration of interior construction, Parkville Residences is getting closer and closer to offering modern, energy-efficient homes in Budapest’s 9th district.
